Jagdpanther, Matchbox 1/76th

NOTES: I'd made this model and hand-painted it (quite poorly) years ago, and rather than throw it away I thought I'd have a go at a little bit of creation...I made the mudguards and shurtzen rails from plasticard, and the towing cables were added from twisted fine electrical wire. The machine gun mounting and drivers visor were cut out  from the main body, the track superglued to the wheels to simulate "sag" and the whole thing sprayed up from a colour photo of a vehicle knocked out in France in 1944 being inspected by a US Marine (note the penetration through the starboard wheels--and yes, I know there's a wheel missing!). Next stage for this is detail painting, weathering and addition of extras before putting in it's own little diorama.

Extras: Plasticard mudguards & wire towing cables

Finish: Humbrol enamels, Tamiya "smoke" acrylic, artist's matt varnish

Brush: Badger 150 copy with direct compressor (no tank or regulator) and handbrushed
