NOTES: One of the first vehicles I actually finished, the little Airfix Kubelwagen is easy to build up, though features the usual problems present in 72/76 scale with over-sizing of small items such as the steering wheel and windscreen frame. I included the two German figures as I had intended to use this as model for war gaming when I first returned to modeling, though this soon changed to modelling for it's own sake after a few kits. I weathered the model with artist's watercolour paints and thinned ink, but this was all guesswork and what little I had read on the subject at the time.
