I bought this model specifically to complete one of Hans Joachim Marselles aircraft, this one being one of his
red-ruddered 109s in North Africa. Although basically the same kit as their G-6, I didn't have the problems of fit with the cowling I had on that model, probably from greater experience. All sprayed up and with decals in place, this is looking quite the ticket, and is one of my best 1/72nd to date (in my opinion!!!)
Extras: Reheat seat belts
Finish: Tamiya acrylics, Johnson's
Klear, oil wash, light sand overspray, artist's acrylic matt varnish, artist's oil pastels
Brush: Badger 150 copy, Nitrogen Tank, regulator set at 15-30psi
