Ok, I'll admit this doesn't look like much at the moment, but I have great plans for this! The grey-brown blob in the centre some people might recognise as a gun emplacement, and that is exactly what it is. In this case this is a plaster-cast of a vac-form item, and is actually the second attempt at this particular diorama….Originally the base was resin and incorporated the vac-form, but many problems meant the removal of the vac-form item and casting of a plaster version to incorporate on a foam mounting board base. This was sealed in with a generous layer of papier-mache, which was then sprayed and covered in static grass to create what you see above. The finished item will incorporate a German A/T gun, halftrack, camouflage netting, some trees and the gun's crew. This is all mounted within a wooden frame and voila! That's the plan, anyway!
