Focke-Wulf Ta-152H, Revell 1/72nd

Focke-Wulf Ta152H

NOTES: The first model I used artist's acrylic matt varnish on as a final coat. Initially I applied this by hand with a large sable brush, but subsequently sprayed it on after touching up other areas of the model (exhaust and surrounding panels mainly). The model is an old Revell tooling, featuring raised panel lines and virtually no internal detail, but it is much cheaper than the Aoshima or Hasegawa examples (which I must admit, I have no experience of at all).

Extras: Scratch built cockpit and wheel wells, resin and rubber main wheels

Finish: Xtracolour Enamels, Cryla Artist's Acrylic Matt Varnish, Artists Oil Pastels

Brush: Badger 150 copy, with direct compressor (no tank or pressure regulator)
